In Spanish, we often say: &#8220;\u00bfC\u00f3mo te\/le v\u00e1?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#0010a3\" class=\"has-text-color\">This <strong>&#8220;How do you do?&#8221;<\/strong> is commonly used in British English when we meet someone for the first time. Another way to greet someone in both American and British English is to say &#8220;Nice to meet you!&#8221;; &#8220;A pleasure to meet you!&#8221; or &#8221; I&#8217;m glad to meet you!&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#0015a3\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size has-very-light-gray-color\">The point here is to know that <strong>&#8220;How do you do?&#8221;<\/strong> can be used in informal situations and only once!
